Carter had his 2 year check-up on September 9th. The pediatricians have moved into new offices by the new hospital since his last visit. He loved the room he was in since their were trains all around the ceiling. He was not impressed that he couldn't reach the trains and play with them. He also loved out the window that their was a man mowing the lawn. He talked a lot about the lawn mower. Here are Carter's stats:
- Height was 34.25 inches - 50th percentile
- Weight 27 lbs 6 oz - 50th percentile
- Head 19.25 inches - 50th percentile
This is the first time since when he was first born that his head has been in the 50th percentile. Since about a month or two old it has been up in the 90th. Dr. Moffitt said, "well he's finally grown into his head." Yeah for Carter and no longer having an enormously large head! Carter still has cradle cap so we got instructions for a new regime to try and get rid of this. It seems to be helping. He continues with eczema flare ups, mostly on his legs. Carter is doing very well developmentally. He puts together quite a few three word phrases and loves talking. He didn't get any shots at this appointment and enjoyed his animal cookies on the way home. Carter is very creative and gets into all kinds of thins. He loves: trains, trucks, baby's, movies (Lion King, Nemo, Curious George, Trains shows, and Richard Scarry's Busy Town which he calls "pig"), books, playing out side, and talking on the phone to his grandparents. He is in size 4 diapers and talks about potty and what goes in their sometimes but when we ask if he wants to go in the potty he says "no" and runs away. He takes an afternoon nap still for around 2 hours. He still sleep about 10-12 hours at night. He loves throwing tantrums, mostly for mom, and is usually a perfect angel for everyone else. He is quite familiar with time-out now. He really loves his mommy and daddy. Here is one of the crazy get-ups he had on one day.

On one of those quite moments I went to see what he was doing. He had pulled out all the diapers from his dresser (which he does a lot) and stacked them on his car.

Then he tried to climb on top.

He also got both his feet stuck in one of my boots. He needed a little help getting out of this once he fell over.
