Family Reunion
It was so much fun getting together with the Nebekers for a weekend reunion. Everyone was their except Lance's brother Keith.
We had some fun playing duck duck goose.
Cute Syd thought every time it was her time to get up and chase too.
Kandra's going to get her mom.
I love this face Jaxson is making!
Dive before Grandpa gets him.
Lynn, Julie, and Kandra had fun being animals with the younger kids. It was hilarious to watch and I'm sure they won't mind me putting these pictures up. :)
I think this was giraffe's
and this was monkey's.
The little kids all got along so well. It was funny to watch them play together.
Carter, Dawson, and Kennadie playing outside. Watch out Kenna!
They had fun pushing each other on the swings.
Dawson was being silly and made the other two laugh and laugh.
One afternoon we went to this fun water park place, that's in someone's backyard. It was so much fun getting together with everyone!

Shoes and Socks
Carter loves shoes. He often goes and gets our shoes for us. On Sundays he even get's our "church shoes" and knows which ones they are. Yesterday Carter put on his socks and shoes all by himself. It wasn't the prettiest job but he did it. We sure think he is one smart boy!

Some picture from July
Carter has figured out how to ride his stick horse. As you can see in the back ground, he has also decided that it is ok to sometimes watch shows other than "choo-choo." He will sometimes watch "fishy" aka Finding Nemo, "Cars", and "monkey" aka Curious George.
This would be his poor cheeks after getting sun burned, blistering, popping, and then some little fingers that kept picking at them. Lance and Carter went to a family reunion and even though Lance and grandma were vigilant at putting sun block on, his cheeks still got fried. They are looking much better this week.
Carter has been lining his cars up all over the house. In the kitchen, the living room, the hallway, and event he bathroom. Apparently you can have a parking garage anywhere.
He sometimes likes to climb up into his high chair and practice putting the snaps together. He can't get them un-done, so it's usually an activity that also involves mom.
Lining up the cars again, with baby riding in the back.
Family Reunion
Lance and Carter got to go to one of Lance's extended family reunion's. I had to stay home and work. It was at Crystal Hot Springs. Lance said Carter had lots of fun swimming and playing with his cousins. Both my boys got sunburned very bad too. Lance all over his back and chest and Carter on his cheeks. Dad and grandma were being extra pro-active in putting sun block on Carter but he still burnt. Lance didn't take any pictures so hopefully I can get some from his sister.

4th of July and Goodbyes
For the weekend of July 4th we went up to my parents house. It was also probably the last time we'll ever be at the house I grew up in. After being on the market for over a year they are closing on it soon. I admit I had a hard time saying good bye to all the memories.
Carter had tons of fun with the hula hoops he found and tackling mom.
Good bye to a great home.
Playing in the little hideout under the stairs where I played when I was little.
Carter loves the "choo-choo" train grandma has. You just can't beat the old fisher price toys!
Saturday we went to the zoo. They had many baby animals there. Here's the baby camel.
Carter had more fun with the statues of the animals. He loved sitting on the tiger. When we were leaving he started getting a little over protective when a little girl went to sit on it. Apparently he thought it was his, doesn't sound like an almost two year old. :)
Didn't quite have the drinking from a drinking fountain down.
Here is the baby zebra.
Up close and personal.
Yeah, another statue and one he could climb onto all by himself.
Later that night there was a party in the neighborhood. Carter loved the bouncy house and even got it for most of the time too himself.
First ice cream cone. I ate most of the ice cream off the top, so it wouldn't be too messy. For the longest time he wouldn't eat it, just wanted to hold it. Finally he started nibbling and wouldn't stop after that.
Sitting on the curb waiting for some fireworks.
First sparkler. He enjoyed watching the fireworks but got bored after a while.
Dad had fun putting together the old electric train to see if it still worked. Carter loved watching the "choo-choo." You can also see my new short hair good in this picture.
We also went and checked out the new park in town. Carter had loads of fun and had a temper-tantrum when it was time to go. This thing spins around just with your weight. Carter loved it. He also kind of fell over when he got out and tried to walk.
All three of us at once. Carter was ready to go!
These were pretty fun too.
Carter loved the cork screw slide.
These swings where awesome to sit in.
At the parade Carter had fun watching the planes fly over and the "trucks" that drove by. He enjoyed some of the people dancing but mostly just enjoyed eating his snacks.
