One project finished!

So Lance has finished the fence this past week and did quite a fabulous job if I say so myself! It's nice to have a fenced in backyard again and not have to worry about Ace when he's out there. Although as mentioned before we didn't ever have problems with him wandering off or anything even with the fence down. What a good little doggie! Here's Lance working along the back side of the fence. Whenever Lance is outside doing something you can always guarantee Ace is somewhere close by. He is not happy when he gets left inside when he knows dad is right out side. He jumps to look out the windows and whines like nothing else when he discovers that Lance is not leaving so Ace can figure no good reason why he should have to stay inside. It's pretty funny! He's such a spoiled dog! Lance staining the fence... and just in case you were wondering, yes Ace is nearby too.

Officially in my 3rd Trimester

So I am now officially in my third trimester. I have 3 months to go. CRAZY!!! As I mentioned in my previous post I still feel like we have so much to do and I'm starting to realize in a few weeks I'll be down to single digit weeks. Hopefully we can get stuff done in the next few weeks. I am definitely starting to feel stretched! Sometimes when our little guy is moving around it feels like he's just pushing out trying to stretch me more to try and get some more room. I don't always appreciate when he does this and sometimes resort to Lance's advice of, "push him back." :) It usually works pretty well for a little while. I have really enjoyed the last few months getting to see him moving around and kicking. It's such a strange feeling and I get entertained a lot by just watching him. He's very active! We shall see how the next few months go...

What else we've been doing

So we have both been staying busy working. Lance has been working hard at his job, putting the fence up (which he has done all by himself with the occasional none willing help of me holding something in place), and mowing all his summer lawns with his new ride. I'll have to get a picture of him on his new love, his lawn mower and of the fence which is half way done now. Here's just a little picture of Lance and Ace goofing off the other night. Ace doesn't quite do the flying thing like a kid does. :) I've been busy working....and it seems like that's about it. What do I do on my days off?? Mostly we've been taking little trips all last month the days I wasn't working so I'm glad to be home on them now and hopefully I can get some stuff done! Between doing dishes and laundry and such things (i.e. playing on our new computer) I keep putting off attacking going through the back bedroom, soon to be computer and craft room. Essentially we're moving everything from the little bedroom to that back bedroom (which currently has a bunch of storage stuff in there which a lot of it will go out to the shed) so that we can make the little bedroom into the baby's room. I've been wanting to hang up all his little clothes we have so far and get some other things done but the room's such a mess right now wanting to do it is about as far as I've gotten. As the weeks are going by however I'm quickly realizing that time is fast approaching for our little guys arrival and I really do need to get it done! I keep telling myself I just need to do a little at a time. We'll see how long it takes to get to it.

Wedding weekend

So the last weekend in May was the wedding of one of Lance's best friend's growing up and I like to think that we're great friends now too. :) We absolutely LOVE Cindy and we're so glad they found each other! From the first time we met her Lance and I kept saying to each other that we sure hoped it worked out because we both liked her so much and thought they were great together. Lance, James, and Ross are known as the three musketeers. They have been friends since well I'm not sure but before kindergarten so probably pretty close to sometime after they were born. It's great that Lance has such great friends! And I'm glad that I like them because it's never good when you hate your husbands friends! Here's a picture of the musketeers with the girls included (Ross is also engaged, so by the end of the year they'll all be married) The three musketeers: Ross, James, and Lance. We had to ask them to act like they liked each other for the picture. They seriously were just standing there side by side hands in pockets. Silly guys! Lance thinks he's pretty funny! I don't think he'll ever have a belly the size of mine! This is at 26 weeks for those keeping track or about 6 months. Here's another picture outside the temple with Lance's parents who were able to make it up.

Camping with the Nebekers

So over memorial weekend we spent some time with all of Lance's family. We went camping for a few days which was fun other than the ants (Lance got bitten a couple times on his neck) and it rained the last day. It was so much fun spending time with everyone though. I don't have too many pictures, I'll have to get some from one of my SILs but here's one of Lance and Ace playing in the water. After camping some of the family had to take off to different places but we were able to stay with Lance's parents for a few days. We drove with a niece and nephew and dropped them off at Lance's sister's place so she could watch them. You know I think there's a reason why kids start out as babies (and for the most part just one at a time) so you can get use to them. Not that they were bad or anything but I still just don't get why kids randomly start crying for no reason. Oh I remember why my niece started crying, it was because she wanted her pillow instead of mine. Granted she was just waking up so she wasn't really herself but that woke my nephew up and got him going for no reason too. So Lance and I decided it was movie time which provided a great distraction. What a wonderful invention! Because it's kind of hard to fix the problem when they won't tell you what it is....just keep doing that half asleep cry. It was pretty funny actually or at least I thought so, Lance didn't so much. :)

New Computer

So we finally got a new computer! YEAH!! We decided to get a laptop since we'd been wanting to get one anyway, I'm just discovering it gets a little frustrating trying to get it all hooked up and everything on it so it's back to what I'm use to. My pictures still are not on here, so I'll have more posts about the last few weeks later. I'm just glad to finally be able to get online at home again! Lance has been enjoying the increased number of games it has on it. :) Just wanted to let you all know we're still alive. More to come during the week...
