10 Months

I really can't believe Carter is 10 months already!

• Just over 19lbs
• 28 inches long
• head circumference 19cm
• His tooth on top right is starting to come in
• Can say "mom", "Da-da", and "Ace"
• Loves pushing things around on the floor
• Swinging doors or cupboards open and shut
• Loves eating pieces of fruit especially peaches, pears, blueberries, and grapes
• Usually will eat steamed carrot pieces but other veggies are on and off
• Like puffs and other little grain snacks and pieces of bread
• In short with the eating, has his good days and bad with how well he'll eat but he still refuses to eat anything that pureed or mashed up.
• Will drink water from his bottle but still has a hard time figuring out the sippy cup
• Majority of the time refuses to stay on his back during diaper changes. Distraction rarely works so he usually ends up with both mom and dad helping get the job done or if it's just mom home having his shoulders pined down by my feet while I change him. He screams the whole time.
• Likes books and can turn the pages himself with just a little help
• Very good at standing up with a hand on something and moving around
• Can stand for a second by himself without holding on to anything but drops to a squat pretty quickly
• Except for when he's not feeling well or tired, Carter will just play and play by himself. We love just watching him play trying to figure out his world.
• Wears 9 month clothes and size 9-12 months, and size 3 diapers

Carter is getting big so fast! I'm realizing, sadly, every day that my little baby is disappearing! I managed to get only a couple of pictures before the photo session turned into lot's of this...This very much describes Carter as a whole, BUSY and always on the move!
