9 Months

We can hardly believe that Carter is 9 months old already. At 9 months he is busy as always and continues to be a happy baby most of the time. It was very difficult trying to get a picture of him this month, I tried 3 different times, and he just kept trying to climb off the chair. I did manage to get a couple ok ones, I think before he realized what was going on. Carter's stats for 9 months are:

• 18lbs (25th percentile)

• 27 3/4 inches long (50th percentile)

• Head circumference 18 1/2 (90th percentile)

Carter's talents:

• Loves pulling himself up on everything and walking with things he can push
• Likes to try and imitate some of the sounds we make
• Babbles, squeals, and vocalizes all the time
• Enjoys eating little pieces of things - pasta, fruit, veggies, loves his puffs. Absolutely hates baby cereals or other purred mushy food.
• If he has a choice, he'd rather feed himself using his little pincer fingers
• Still has sensitive skin including bad eczema that flairs up now and again.
• Thinks it's hilarious to try and roll over on his changing table when we're trying to put his creams on and get him dressed. We don't think it's quite so funny.
• Loves little kids and trying to chase after Ace
• He loves singing songs (well I sing and he smiles and laughs)
• Love playing the "this is the way the lady rides" game. His favorite part is leaning backwards and often starts doing that before we've even gotten to that part
• He loves being tickled and has the cutest laugh

We sure love our boy!! He is such a joy in our life!
